Business for London Launches LONDON E-Business Support Programme
The Business for London Consortium held its official launch of the LONDON E-Business Support Programme on 22nd February 2024 at the Small Business Research and Enterprise Centre (SBREC) in the City. Despina Johnson, CEO of Business for London and Chief Executive of Enterprise Enfield, was delighted to welcome guest speaker, Alex Conway, Assistant Director, Economic Development and Programmes at the Greater London Authority (GLA). Over 140 people attended the evening, which included a selection of SMEs showcasing their businesses and plenty of networking at the unique venue with exclusive access to the Guildhall's Roman Amphitheatre.
The LONDON E-Business Support Programme is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered through Business for London, a consortium of 7 business support partner organisations operating across the capital, Enterprise Enfield is the lead partner, other partners include: Centa Business Services, London Business Partnership, PBC, South East Enterprise, Start Up Croydon and Small Business Research & Enterprise Centre.
The £2.8M scheme will help over 1,000 SMEs to boost their business growth by improving their use of digital technology - with FREE access to 121 advice and support from Digital Experts, as well as a range of webinars and networking events.
